CLIENT PORTAL ACCESS & YOUR QUESTIONNAIRE

 

Within 48 hours of securing your date, you will receive access to your Client Portal & Wedding Day Questionnaire (located in your Client Portal).

 

Your questionnaire is extremely important as it includes the details for your entire day including:

• Your family shot list

• Any sensitive family situations

• Your photo dreams and wishes

• Special requests and unique situations

• Timing & locations

• Your priorities.

• Your vendors

We will want to make sure that this is filled out as completely as possible, but don't worry, there is no rush on filling it out. We want you to take your time and do this at your convenience. You can stop at anytime or update already entered information by accessing the questionnaire from your personal client portal. ​​ It's not due until 6 weeks prior.​

SCHEDULE SESSIONS

​

If you included sessions in your photography package, these can be scheduled at any time. We recommend that anything intended to be ready by your wedding date be scheduled a minimum of 12 weeks prior to your wedding date. It's great to pair your hair and makeup trial with your engagement or bridal session as well. You will receive an email to schedule these sessions if they are included in your package, or you can include them at any time. Our schedule is contingent on location, which we are happy assist with selecting.

TIMING CONSULT

​

About 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding date, we will schedule a phone call to discuss all the information you've provided on your questionnaire. If we're not your planner or coordinator, then we will request the draft timeline from whoever you've chosen to work with. If your planner or coordinator doesn't have a draft, we will create one for you. Together we will put together a photography timeline​

WEDDING DAY PHOTOGRAPHY

​

We've probably already discussed our approach with you if we chatted on the phone prior to booking. We have a mixed approach on the wedding day, doing both a documentary and and intentional, cinematic approach. Depending on the time of day or the moment happening, the approach will be different. There are moments that call for complete control, others that need a little guidance and then some that require us to step back.

 

You will have a lead shooter, who will be the person keeping you on track all day and a second shooter who will be in the wings, catching everything else. The lead is responsible for all the "A-role" shots. The images of you looking at the camera, your family formals, etc. The second shooter will have their head on a swivel all day, responsible for the "B-role" images. They will have their eyes on all the hugs, tears, kisses and laughter. While your lead has eyes on you, they have eyes on your family, your guests and your details. While your lead is shooting portraits, they're focusing on details of your veil, your florals or maybe they're shooting through the leaves in a bush somewhere. 

 

Our goal is for you to enjoy your day while having enough guidance necessary for great images, without disrupting your moments. Our approach leads to a balance gallery, having both posed intentional moments and those candid moments that tell a story.

TURNAROUND & DELIVERY

​

Galleries are delivered via email and remain available for 1 year. Through your gallery, you will have access to our print store where you can order prints, cards (thank you, christmas, etc.) and photo art. To receive 10% off our print store, use code: Weddings
